The Bridgeville, Delaware native linked up with Canadian rapper and model Genesis, who is known for her sexually-drive lyrics, for the sultry single off his newly released EP, Vex, Pt. 1. On "2pennies," both artists take turns talking about what they would do with their sexual partner, and if prude is anywhere in your vocabulary to describe yourself, then just clutch your pearls as you take a listen.
West's latest project offers a mix of musical influences that come from his eclectic musical influences. Last year, West spoke with Noisey about being exposed to a variety of musical tastes by his parents. "It’s from [my dad] saying, ‘Rap’s cool but you should see what else you like,'” he says. “There’s other good music than just rap.”
