Jimmy Winfrey, Young Thug's former tour manager and the man arrested for shooting up Lil Wayne's tour bus in April, believes that Birdman "should be held liable as a party to the crime," reports TMZ.

In newly surfaced court documents, Winfrey is on the record saying that [Birdman's] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting." According to an indictment delivered in July, Winfrey made a call to a phone owned by Birdman prior to the shooting. Birdman vehemently denied any involvement.

Birdman and Wayne are currently in the midst of a $51 million legal battle. We will keep you updated with further developments as Birdman prepares his rebuttal to Winfrey's new allegations.
