Although fans are still waiting for the collaborative project I Can't Feel My Face from Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana, here's the next best thing: Lil Wayne is set to executive produce Juelz Santana's upcoming album, Born To Love, Built To Win.
Making the announcement on RapFix Live, Santana says, "I went out to Miami to chop it up with Wayne. I actually asked him to executive produce my album, Born to Lose."
Even though a joint mixtape from the two may never come to fruition, Juelz looked for a way he could still work with the lead rapper of YMCMB. "Best thing to do is to reach out to [Lil Wayne] and figure out how we can still make it the best thing possible, and I figured to ask him to executive produce my album would be a great thing," the Dipset rapper said of his next LP, which will be released through Def Jam Records. "He agreed to it, so that's gonna be coming. That's after the God Willin'," he said, referring to his upcoming mixtape series.
This will be Juelz' third solo LP, and the first one since 2005. The first volume of his God Willin' mixtape series is expected to drop in January.
