Lil Wayne on the Black Lives Matter movement... "my life matter, especially to my bitches."

Lil Wayne recently sat down with ABC’s Nightline for an exclusive interview, which will drop in full at 12:35 AM EST on Wednesday morning. But before it arrives, ABC decided to share a brief clip on twitter which has been making headlines across the board for Lil Wayne’s comments about his disconnection with the Black Lives Matter movement.

In the clip surfaced online, Lil Wayne asked about his thoughts on the Black Lives Matter, where he replied…“What is it? What do you mean? That just sounds weird. I don’t know, that you put a name on it…It’s not a name, it’s not, ‘whatever whatever.’ It’s somebody got shot by a policeman for a fucked up reason.”

Later, Weezy was asked about how he feels connected to the movement, in which replied, “I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me. If you do, you crazy as shit. You. Not the camera. You. Feeling connected to something that ain’t got nothing to do with you? If it ain’t got nothing to do with me, I ain’t connected to it.”

The full interview is set to air soon & sure to surface on the the web shortly after. Peep the already controversial clip (below) and stay tuned for the full thing.

FOH. Wayne is a fuck nigga. What he said is like Chubby Checker, Fats Domino, or Little Richard saying "I had white people in my audience and all of the camera men were white so there was no racism in the 1960s". STFU

Change the name to black people killed by police organization or some other name because Black lives matter is BS. Where they at to stop this gang violence , they not in the hood helping people out. Change the name. Only pop for a protest. Protesting don't do shit .

So Wayne doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself and the people close to him. o.k., I get it, but let's not celebrate that shit. To much is given much is expected. I'm not a disabled vet, but I am running in a charity event this weekend and I raised some money. What's wrong with caring about shit even though it doesn't directly impact you?

I feel you Wayne.... I suppose, but um yeah no need to be disrespectful to the woman that was interviewing him...

I'm a black man and I think the whole Black Lives Matter is a joke. Like come on, its only used when a white police officer shoots an unarmed black man it's basically an excuse for a group of black peoples to rally against white people like this is 2016, every innocent life matters I don't want to see All Lives Matter this isn't a fücking hashtag event this is real life, social media is fucking poisonous for the youth. Gtfo with that BS bruh

Queen Tomi
- Nov 2, 2016

I'm sure Eminem, G-Eazy, Mac Miller, etc don't feel connected to the KKK. It's basically the same thing at this point

Sousa 26
- Nov 2, 2016

He is right though and ppl will get upset but it's all in opinion and up to you to decide how you want to handle it

What is black lives matter? Because i only hear about them until a black person gets killed by the cops, never hear anything about them "protesting" the countless black on black killings.

Notorious Pac
- Nov 2, 2016

Because the sole purpose of the organization is to stop innocent black people from getting killed by police. Would you go to a charity event for breast cancer and yell "All cancers matter! What about Leukemia!!! Think about it. If there were dozens of videos of police officers killing Latino, Asian, and white citizens you might have an argument.

RyanIsNice

@Notorious Pac what a shit comparison. Lmfao.

John Bratcher
- Nov 2, 2016

@RyanIsNice no sir, you are ignorant. And @NotoriousPac made a valid point. I'd take the time to explain why, but id rather see you bask in your own benevolence, dummy.

ImWitWhatever
- Nov 2, 2016

@ProPain Actually statistically speaking more white folks get killed by police than black every year. Media just showing you what the BLM movement wants to see to fire up more unjust protesting. if the sole purpose about police shootings, change the name of the movement. because you damn well know nobody in my community care about the 654 dead black men in chicago this year.

Notorious Pac
- Nov 2, 2016

@ImWitWhatever Let's not act like BLM is supposed to solve every problem in our communities. Where the hell is the Chicago NAACP? What about the mayor and other local elected officials and community activists? Shouldn't they be held accountable too?
