In a startling series of tweets, Lil Wayne says that "Tha Carter V" won't be coming out on the expected release date, blaming Cash Money and Birdman for making him a "prisoner."
In his lengthy career, Lil Wayne has rarely (if ever)Â publicly saidÂ anything about Birdman, the man he often calls "daddy," so with that in mind, the tweets he just sent out are shocking. In an action that could be deemed "pulling a Tyga," Wayne just admonished his label andÂ its CEO in a series of tweets that, among other things, reveal that we probably won't be gettingÂ Tha Carter VÂ anytime soon.
