Lil Wayne catches a strange case.

Back in June 2016, Lil Wayne found himself in some legal hot water over allegedly assaulting a security guard. Now, TMZ reports that the recipient of the beating is suing Wayne, and worse, he's actually calling the attack a "hate crime."

To recap, the whole thing went down at the Hyde nightclub, when Wayne and his crew stopped by for the BET Awards after party. After preventing some of Wayne's entourage from entering, an argument broke out, which allegedly led to Wayne throwing some blows and alcoholic beverages. Where does the "hate crime" label come in? Well, apparently Lil Wayne's trash talk includes the line "fuck you white boy!"

The bouncer is suing Wayne and his camp for $25,000 dollars worth of damages. Wayne's team has denied any involvement in the assault.
