Lil Wayne is certainly not letting any lingering effects from his recent seizures to eat into his work schedule in any way. Between tour dates and studio time that he's been putting in lately, Weezy isn't slowing down his pace anytime soon. What's even more intriguing is the list of other rappers that he's been spotted working with as of late. Scott Storch, NBA player Damian Lillard and others are among those that Wayne has chosen to share mic duties with recently. Now, there's a new name to add to that list: Trippie Redd.

The young rapper shared a couple of photos from a recent studio session the two of them had, captioning one with the enigmatic hashtag of #YM14. There's no word on what exactly they're working on or when the public will be able to hear it, but based on the comments section next to both of Redd's photos, it's safe to say that there's a significant portion of the hip-hop community that is down with collaboration happening. In fact, this isn't the first time he and Wayne have joined forces on a record, with the veteran contributing a verse to Trippie's track "Fires & Desires." Who knows if any new music from Wayne and Redd will be in the same vein as that record, but regardless, the team-up should be pretty fire when all is said and done.

Trippie Redd has actually been in the news for a completely different reasons today as well. Video surfaced on social media that showed him getting into a physical altercation with another man at this past weekend's Day N Night Festival, which took place in Anaheim, CA. The headliners were very strong, with Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar headlining from Friday to Sunday respectively. Redd came out bloodied after the fight was done, but he didn't seem shaken by what had taken place. With the young rapper sharing the same sonic space as Lil Wayne in the studio, you can be sure that he has everything to feel good about too. You can watch some videos of the altercation below.
