With all the major tours already announced for this summer, you could expect the worlds of hip-hop and pop-punk to collide together. Lil Wayne and blink-182 announced their co-headlining tour earlier today which will run throughout the summer. It's an odd pairing that still makes sense, considering their fanbases cross paths at Hot Topic. Along with the tour announcement, Wayne and blink-182 collaborated on a mash-up of their biggest singles.
Just in case you forgot Weezy's post-No Ceilings venture, Rebirth, he returned to form with his latest collaboration with blink-182. Earlier today, they released a live mash-up of "A Milli" with "What's My Age Again." blink-182 provides the backing with the instrumental of their 1999 hit, along with the hook, while Wayne fills in the verses with parts from "A Milli."
The summer tour is set to kick off at the end of June in Colombus, OH before concluding in Camden, New Jersey in September. The tour will also include an opening performance from Neck Deep.
