Lil Uzi Vert's rise to fame has caught up with the RIAA. The Recording Industry certified this month that "You Was Right" sold more than a million units.
This is the first time the Philly rapper gets a platinum record on his own. "Money Longer" went gold in October last year. The Metro Boomin-produced hit appeared on last year's Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World.
Lil Uzi's been pretty busy this year. He's been on tour with The Weeknd and Bryson Tiller on Starboy: Legend of the Fall. He's also released a four-track project this year Luv Is Rage 1.5. He's gearing up to soon drop Luv Is Rage 2.
Two different versions of Lil Uzi's video for "You Was Right" were released online. The trippy official version, based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, features the rapper and Metro Boomin as Mad Hatters at a tea party. And a second animated version was made by artist Some Hoodlum. Check them out below.
