Lil Uzi Vert's social media situation has been absurd for much of this year. With Twitter and Instagram being the go-to mediums to find out about what everybody is up to in terms of future releases and collaborations, Uzi's IG lockdown has been detrimental for anybody wishing to keep up with the Philly rapper. Thankfully, Uzi has been popping up on a few tracks here and there with his latest appearance happening on Young Jordan's new EP Slicey. The two had previously worked together on Gunna's "At The Hotel" and they figured they made magic the first time around so why not try to follow it up?
"With My Slime" is one of the early standouts from the EP, which offers people who may be unfamiliar with the YSL artist a chance to catch his vibe. Produced by Smoke, the beat is playful with synth loops keeping the vibe upbeat and energetic for the two rappers to go off of. Crafting catchy melodies along the way, Jordan and Uzi blast the auto-tune on this one to stay consistent with the overall sound of the project. With Slicey out now, it will be interesting to keep up with Jordan and see how he takes advantage of his strong momentum.
