Lil Uzi Vert continues to ride his wave, giving fans his third mixtape since October of last year (the first being Luv Is Rage, the mixtape that started it all, at least from a wave-riding standpoint) with The Perfect Luv Tape. After teasing the tape the other week, the rapper surprised us with the drop over the weekend; a weekend that also included a trio of festivals from Osheaga to OVO to Lollapalooza. Obviously this didn't stop artists from dropping new music, as we also got a loose/fire-y cut from Jazz Cartier, two big Murda Beatz-produced records and multiple Migos appearances.
Like his past mixtapes, features are limited-- Playboi Carti, Offset and Future round it out, and that's a lot for Uzi. Nonetheless some of his best cuts are solo ones, including the mixtape opener "Do What I Want," where he plays off the lyrics of his past singles (namely "Money Longer"), and enlists production from frequent collaborators Maaly Raw (read our Behind the Beat with him) and Don Cannon.
