Lil Uzi Vert is very excited about his friend and collaborators new mixtape, and it's not just because he landed two features on it. "Listen here, my brother Carti just dropped the best god damn album that I've ever heard," said Uzi in a video posted to Carti's Snapchat.
Uzi has a considerable grin on as he delivers the claim, which makes it seem like it might be a slight exaggeration. However, his enthusiasm is genuine, and judging by the reaction to the tape so far, he's certainly not alone.
Uzi is expected to release his Luv Is Rage 2 project later this year. His single "XO Tour Llif3," just entered the top ten of the Hot 100 this week, making it his highest charting solo hit to date. Let's not forget, that he already has a #1 under his belt with his guest appearance on "Bad and Boujee."
Will Luv Is Rage 2 replace Playboi Carti's mixtape as the best album Uzi's ever heard? Only time will tell, but for now, you can listen to Uzi and Carti's two collaborations from the project "Lookin" and "Woke Up Like This."
