At long last, the world was gifted with some brand-new material from Lil Uzi Vert. Not in the form of clips on Snapchat or Instagram this time, but as full-length songs that dropped on Shade 45 early this morning East Coast time. One of the highlights was Uzi's new collaboration with Young Thug entitled "Bag."
With Rex Kudo and Wheezy behind the production of a beat that really slaps, Lil Uzi Vert and Young Thug proceed to rap about their accumulated riches and what it can buy them. Talk of black mags, designer accessories and much more permeate the lyrics, which is a welcome departure from the more somber writing Uzi has crafted in the past. It's a sure-fire banger that will no doubt dominate the latter half of 2017.
