Nardwuar is undoubtedly one of the most skilled music journalists. However, the amount of research he does can often creep out his interview subjects such as Lil Uzi Vert. Following Uzi's show in Vancouver this weekend, he met with Nardwuar The Human Serviette for their second interview together, but it seems Nardwuar's journalistic skills scared the Philly rapper.
Nardwuar linked up with Lil Uzi Vert recently for a pretty short interview. Lil Uzi Vert kicked off the interview by complimenting Nardwuar's attire, saying that he has the same jacket and pant combination. Nardwuar, as usual, comes with gifts for his interview subject. Nardwuar first gives Lil Uzi Vert a piece of GG Allin memorabilia before the rapper opens up about his appreciation of the controversial shock rocker. Nardwuar then gifts Uzi with a Rob Zombie poster which prompts the rapper to continue asking who Nardwuar's sources are to find out this information.
"I'm glad I'm a good guy because if I was under investigation for something, I'd be scared right now. How you know that?" Uzi said.
However, Uzi gets even more spooked by Nardwuar after the interviewer asked him about Guns Garcia. "Yo, he know too much," Uzi said with a shocked look on his face. "I can't do this. What Kanye do?" he continued before abruptly running out of the interview. Nardwuar then proceeded to chase down Lil Uzi Vert in an attempt to complete their interview.
