Lil Wayne's long-awaited album Tha Carter V may not be available to the public anytime soon, but it hasn't stopped Young Money signee Lil Twist from putting in on his phone. In a new interview with HipHopDX, the rapper revealed that he is one of two people who has the full project on his phone; the other being Wayne himself.

"C5 is fucking crazy," he said. "I can't wait ‘til y'all hear it. I'm the only person outside of him that got it on my phone. It's fucking crazy. It's berserk. He got a lot of features on that. He working with Mannie Fresh on the album again. That's gonna be good for the people."

In a 2015 interview with Montreality, Mannie Fresh confirmed that he was working on the project. "We kinda went back to that original Cash Money feel, like you know what I'm saying, what you grew up on," he said. "Like, the Mannie Fresh sound that you knew Wayne and Mannie did, the chemistry. So it's more of that original, that first Carter."

As for the features Twist speaks of, Wayne shared a tentative in a PSA video from October 2015. It included guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, and Justin Bieber.

Twist may be the only other person who has C5 on his personal device, but we know that "pharma bro" Martin Shkreli has acquired the album in some form as well. Shkreli previewed snippets of the album via a livestream before reportedly being warned against doing so by Wayne's team. A few months later, he was back at it, previewing a track from the album that featured Kendrick Lamar.

According to Twist, Wayne is in good spirits despite the ongoing legal battle that has left his album in release purgatory. "He’s doing great," said Twist. "He’s working every day as usual."
