We recently sat down with up-and-coming rapper Lil Skies, who broke down the first verse of his breakout single "Signs Of Jealousy." During the opening lines, he shouts out his girlfriend, saying "I don't be fuckin' with like, thots...I'm a loyal n***a." Even his more self-explanatory lines have a deeper meaning, and Skies breaks down how he didn't choose the rap life, the life chose him. He proceeds to break down the lines "In her room and she giving me face, when I nut, she gon' give me my space" with a comedic attention to detail. And naturally, if you're a lame, you simply cannot relate to that level.
If you're a fan of Lil Skies, you should definitely check out the breakdown. While the lyrics aren't in need of Decoded, the experience reveals an endearing side to his character, and provides a bit of insight into the mind of Lil Skies.
