Lil Pump may be facing some legal troubles. Witnesses claim to have seen him being handcuffed by Miami police this afternoon. The rapper had been riding around the city in a white Rolls Royce.
It is reported that the young artist had some kind of issue with his driver's license. When he was pulled over, the faulty ID led to his being arrested.
According to his Miami-Dade County Jail booking sheet, Pump doesn't have a valid driver's license. The Florida native remains in custody.
The reason why Pump was pulled over in the first place has yet to be disclosed. If he is indicted for any charges, he will most likely be tried as an adult since his 18th birthday passed a couple of weeks ago. Earlier last year, the "Drug Addict" rapper had been taken into custody after shooting up his own home and sent to a juvenile detention center.
Lil pump gave his social media following the impression of his running Miami fairly recently. He was proud to show off his machine guns after hopping off a plane. The entertainer's arrest for a non-violent crime is somewhat ironic. The pictures of his arrest don't reflect the usual the kind of demeanor he advertises or the bravado he is known to boast. Hopefully, the situation won't cause him to miss his album release.
UPDATE: Lil Pump has been released from custody. A source told TMZ that he was issued a ticket but will not have to appear in court.
