In case you missed it on Wednesday, Plies was arrested at the Tampa Bay airport after a gun was found in one of his bags as he tried to board a plane. TSA agents discovered a Glock 43, as well as a fully-loaded magazine lying beside it. He reportedly had no permit for the gun, and was arrested immediately by airport police for carrying a concealed weapon, which is a felony charge.
Well shortly after news broke of Plies’ arrest, Lil Duval thought it would be a good idea to share a little joke at his expense. The “Smile” singer & comedian shared a screenshot on IG of a text he supposedly received, which made fun of Plies’ hairline. It read: “Man Plies got arrested at the airport and he told the officer please don't take my hat off in front of all these people,” to which he responded with a bunch of crying laughing emojis. Duval’s captioned implied that it was a text he received from a friend, “Look what somebody just text me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.”
Now it’s pretty clear this was all in good fun and shouldn't be taken too serious, but you never know with Plies. However he won’t see it right away as he’s currently locked up in the Hillsborough County Jail.
