Following a lot of begging from fans, Lil Durk and YoungBoy Never Broke Again agreed it was time to release their collaborative track "My Side." The track, which is not currently tied to a particular project, proves that the two rappers have a very similar appeal. The paranoid, melancholic record finds both Durk and YoungBoy, from Chicago and Baton Rouge respectively, using good use of melody while also sharing unfiltered, emotionally charged raps. Both are in some form, very traditional street rappers, but being from a younger generation, they're also willing to push the sound forward. It's not a surprise that they've come together, as both emcees have made a point of seeking out like-minded artists, whether it be Durk making a collaborative project with Detroit's Tee Grizzley or NBA teaming with MoneyBagg Yo on Fed Baby's. Durk and Tee Grizzley's project is scheduled to be released on December 8th, so keep your year-end lists open for the time being. After that, we wouldn't mind hearing a full tape from Durk and YoungBoy.

Quotable Lyrics:
Where I'm from it ain't safe boy it's wild
Keep a gun cuz I gotta survive
N***a bet not come tweak on my side
N***a know all my n***as gon' ride
