Young Thug has been making moves with features lately, from joining Giggs on "Wamp 2 Dem" to Trae Tha Truth and Skippa Da Flippa on "Thuggin" and now Young has hopped on the remix for Lil Baby and Marlo's "Set Up Shop."
Young joins the track towards the end of the beat rapping, "“Anyway I act flamboyant/Nigga been a gangsta since born/Niggas kill they self."
The remix comes off Marlo and Lil Baby's latest mixtape 2 The Hard Way that features nine tracks and other collaborations from Kollision, Yogi, Tk Kravitz, Big36oz and PnB Rock. The production on the tape is handled by OG Parker, Mercy and Quay Global to name a few.
Another must-listen beat on the duos mixtape release is "Big Tymers" that has a beat that should be played while driving on a highway, it's dodgy and relevant to the lyric content. "Bad bitches long hair in the lobby/ woah woah kemosabe/ I just pray I don't kill nobody."
Lil Baby is one of Atlanta's rising talents that will soon be on larger collaborations. Lil Baby spoke with HNHH earlier in the summer when his mixtape at the time, Perfect Timing, had just dropped about how despite claims of him being the 'next big thing' he's going to remain chill.
"Me personally, I don’t feel like that but everybody who I’m talking to that’s their response. They say ‘you next, you gonna be the next one, you gonna be big,’ but me, I’m a very humble guy. Like, it take a lot to make me feel myself I just go in like very humble.I never told nobody I’m gonna be next, but I will say I’m goin’ at they neck," he said.
