Lonzo Ball could be the first rookie to be hit with the infamous Based God's curse if he's not careful. The recent L.A. Lakers draftee has landed in hot water with Lil B following some comments he made about Nas on his new reality show Ball In The Family. "Don’t nobody listen to Nas anymore," he told a cameraman. "Real hip-hop is MigosFuture."

A few days later, Lil B shared a warning for the young player, indicating that if he continue to disrespect the legends of rap, he may find himself having a dismal rookie season. "Lonzo ball is a few seconds away from being cursed his rookie year on the lakers," tweeted Lil B. "nas is hip hop and always relevant, watch ur team." So far, Lonzo, has not responded to the tweet.

Lil B has previously cursed players including Kevin Durant and James Harden. It was only after the curse was lifted that Durant was able to win a championship, so the Based God's dark magic is probably not something Ball wants to face so early in his career. Earlier this year, Lil B also lifted the curse from Harden.

Ball previously upset hip-hop purists when he listed his top five rappers as Future, DMX50 CentLil Wayne and Tupac (in that order). While not all that controversial a list (especially considering Lonzo is 19 years old), excluding rappers like Biggie, Nas and Jay-Z for newer acts is still frowned upon by more conservative fans. In a similar move, Lonzo recently tweeted that he feels 21 Savage's Issa album is superior to Jay-Z's 4:44. Read our list of Lonzo's most hip-hop moments, for better or for worse, here.

Lil B just released what he's called his long-awaited "first official mixtape" Black Ken, which stands as one of his best projects yet. Check out our list of his most essential projects.
