After Kenyon Martin clowned on Brooklyn Nets point guard Jeremy Lin over his decision to rock some dreadlocks, Martin may have inadvertently drawn the ire of the ever-watchful Based God. Black Ken rapper Lil B did not take kindly to Martin's "no reason hating" of Lin's new look, and as a result, the Based God hit Martin with the dreaded curse "until further notice." It would appear that Lil B was a fan of Lin's new look and heartfelt homage to black culture, and felt compelled to defend Lin's honor. Perhaps the Based God felt Lin let Martin off too easy with his initial "kill em' with kindness" response (although that "Chinese tattoos" line was low-key ruthless).

In case you missed it, Martin dropped a few since-deleted videos, in which the former NBA player unleashed some shade in Lin's direction: "Like, come on, man. Let's stop it with these people. There is no way possible he would've made it on one of our teams with that bulls--t on his head. Come on man, somebody need to tell him, like, 'alright bro, we get it. You wanna be black.' Like, we get it. But your last name is Lin.'"

And while Lin may have opted to take the high road, the Based God apparently has no patience for such transgressions. Check out the initial curse announcement below, which Lil B made this afternoon via Twitter:

NFL player Brandin Bryant felt the curse was a little premature, but Lil B was having none of it.

Ultimately, Kenyon Martin may very well rue the day he decided to weigh in on Lin's dreadlocks. Perhaps Lil B will find it in his heart to show mercy, but for now, the curse will remain indefinitely.
