Leven Kali dropped off his latest offering in the form of an EP titled, HIGHTIDE, on Friday, a follow-up to his 2019 debut project, Low Tide. Impressing with his powerful vocals and lyrical ability over the years, the breakout R&B star has returned with a new body of work to add to his growing discography. The 13-track effort includes features from Leven's frequent collaborator, Syd, who previously served as the only feature on Low Tide, as well as Ty Dolla $ign, Smino, and Topaz Jones.

Referring to HIGHTIDE as "part two" of Low Tide, Leven uses the "tide" metaphor to describe one's changing self, which the two projects demonstrate. "The [biggest] difference is just growth, but it’s still part of the same story," he said about the relationship between the two projects. "As the character develops and gets stronger, you can feel that in the music." Check out HIGHTIDE below and let us know what you think of Leven's sophomore effort.
