He may have passed away two years ago but Leonard Cohen's work is still being published today. The iconic Canadian singer and poet will reportedly have a new addition to his discography soon but right now, his poetic work is being cast in the spotlight. The "Hallelujah" singer appeared to be enamored by the life Kanye West lives and speaks about, or so it appears in one of his poems that has been posthumously published.

Kanye West is admittedly a captivating man. You never quite know what he'll say or do next. We expect that maybe he'll have something to say about Cohen's poem, titled "Kanye West Is Not Picasso." The late icon makes reference to some of the world's geniuses in Edison, Tesla, and Picasso, also bringing up Kanye West and Jay-Z. "Kanye West is not Picasso/ I am Picasso," writes Cohen. The work is included in a collection of poetry called The Flame, which is now on bookshelves.

The literary piece is a quite interesting read, which appears to be written directly after West made comments comparing himself to Picasso. It feels shockingly current, especially considering the artist's meeting with President Donald Trump today. This is the first time it's being shared publically with it being dated March 15, 2015. Read through it below and let us know your thoughts.
