Back in December, LeBron James purchased a 16,000 square foot mansion in Los Angeles' upscale Brentwood neighborhood, but he never had much of an opportunity to settle in considering he was still a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. After officially signing with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron and his family can finally get comfortable in his new $23 million pad on Tigertail Road.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the 4x NBA MVP's new neighborhood is home to several celebrities, most notably Jim Carrey and Scooter Braun.

"Newly signed Laker LeBron James' $23 million digs on Tigertail Road in L.A.'s Brentwood come with a deep roster of industry neighbors, from stars (Jim Carrey) and execs (ABC's Ben Sherwood, Scooter Braun) to reps (CAA's Fred Specktor, Lighthouse's Margaret Riley), writers (John Sacret Young) and movie royalty (or at least movie royalty-adjacent: John Goldwyn's ex Colleen Camp)."

The James' residence, a new-build eight-bedroom mansion, has reportedly been under renovation since May as he adds a basketball court and indoor wine tap, but the construction hasn't been particularly disruptive, given the large number of homes being built and renovated throughout the neighborhood.

“[His house] is set on the hillside, very tasteful and pretty, and it's been low-key so far," said one neighbor, who expressed concern over the “McMansions" popping up in the area, according to THR. “People were a lot more upset when Justin Bieber was looking around here."
