Earlier this year, NBA 2K19 announced that LeBron James would grace the cover of the special 20th Anniversary Edition. Today, NBA 2K19 has revealed the first look at LeBron in his new Lakers uniform, as well as his overall rating. According to the screenshot, LeBron boasts a 98 overall rating, which is one point higher than what it was when the season ended in NBA 2K18.
Milwaukee Bucks All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the cover athlete of the NBA 2K19 standard edition but thus far his rating, and the ratings of other NBA stars, remains a secret.

Purchasing the 20th Anniversary Edition of NBA 2K19 ($99.99) will give you early access to the game on September 7th in both digital and physical on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and digitally on Windows PC. The NBA 2K19 Standard Edition will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 system, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC platforms on September 11th.
