LeBron James had a simple explanation when asked about the Arthur meme he posted on instagram one day ago, shortly after Kyrie Irving scored 35 points and led the Boston Celtics to their ninth straight win of the season.

His reasoning, "I like Arthur," James said, per ESPN when asked to explain the post. "That's OK, right?"

#NBATwitter had speculated that LeBron's post was a direct response to Kyrie's flourishing start with the Celtics, though others suggested it was nothing basketball related, and possibly had something to do with him missing shootaround Tuesday morning for a "personal matter." Turns out he's just a big fan of the animated aardvark.

LeBron's "explanation" came during the post-game of Cleveland's 124-119 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks last night. LeBron flirted with a triple double in the win, posting 30 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals.

Amid the speculation about his IG post, LeBron had some fun with it and shared the following photo on instagram.

Not only did LeBron double down on his "Mood" post, but he also liked Draymond Green's similarly captioned photo and gave the Warriors' forward a follow for his cleverness. Although, Draymond maintains that he wasn't "trolling" LeBron with his post, it was just a coincidence that he happened to share a photo depicting his mood.
