Shortly after Lonzo Ball was selected with the #2 overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers, his father LaVar predicted that the Lakers would make the playoffs in his rookie season.
Not long after that comment was made, the Sixers' Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid took some jabs at LaVar on twitter, which Embiid recently followed up by saying, point blank, "Fuck LaVar Ball."
TMZ reporters recently caught up with LaVar at the airport to get his take on Joel Embiid and, as always, LaVar didn't hold back. He called out Embiid for being dumb and injury prone, among other things.
"The reason he said that ... his vocabulary is limited," LaVar told TMZ Sports.
"You gotta use cuss words when you don't have no intellect."
"He's not intelligent at all. He's worried about me? He should be worrying about playing."
"I'm not going to worry about him, he's small change."
