Lashaun Ellis is one of the exciting new voices coming out of the West Coast right now, alongside rappers like Joey Fatts, Boogie and A$ton Matthews. The Temecula native is currently prepping his debut album Never Home for an indie release via 6JRecordings, but before then, he's given us the greenlight to premiere a lead single off it featuring Long Beach native A$ton.
Never Home is produced entirely by in-house producer Khompono, who created a particularly savage backdrop on "Get Em". With chiming bells and a heavy synth that weaves in and out, we get a new age gangster sound that pays homage to its g-funk roots. Lashaun and A$ton proceed to flex over the hard-hitting beat.
