This is precisely the reason why people around the world are protesting. Racism must be stopped and the police force needs to be reformed.
A new video has been catching the attention of people on social media who are outraged to even be witnessing such an apparent misuse of power. While the circumstances surrounding the video's origins are unclear, the conclusion is seriously shocking.
The clip shows a group of approximately five or six black teenagers gathered on a street corner before a cop car pulls up on them as they run away. The officers then begin firing rounds of rubber bullets in their direction.
The young kids were not in the middle of a protest -- in fact, many of them are carrying backpacks and skateboards.

Lil Nas X spoke out after seeing the video, writing: "this is why we need to push as hard as ever this time."
Once again, we don't know what sparked the police to fire rubber bullets at the kids, but the way in which they went about it is unacceptable.
