The Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers NBA season opener next Tuesday, October 17th hardly needs any more intrigue, but if you weren't quite sold on it yet, recent comments made by Kyrie Irving might add a little fuel to the fire.

Kyrie was recently compared between Boston and Cleveland, saying he sees "a vast difference" between the two cities. In fact, he described Boston as "a real, live sports city," which some Cleveland fans will certainly take issue with.

“Boston, I’m driving in and (thinking), ‘I’m really playing in a real, live sports city?’” Irving said, according to The Charlotte Observer.

“It’s exciting to be back on the East Coast,” said Irving, a New Jersey native. “It’s fast-paced. A lot of different cultures, food and people. You get it all, especially in Boston. You would go to Cleveland, and it would be at nighttime, and things would be going on, but you just see a vast difference.”

Kyrie and his new Celtics teammates will visit the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland less than one week from now, but he insists he isn't anxious at all, "It's just hoops," he told the Charlotte Observer.
