Kylie Jenner is in the news today for something other than her new baby Stormi (not to be confused with grime rapper Stormzy). Jenner posted a photo of her and friend Anastasia Karanikolaou yesterday evening with the caption "heat wave." To the untrained eye it's a regular Instagram photo, but to some Kylie Jenner devotees, this photo is breaking news. One fan noticed that "she looks like the old Kylie here idk why." Jenner responded saying that "I got rid of all my filler."

In the language of the uninitiated, this means that Jenner no longer uses lip augmentation to make her lips puffier and more pouty. According to WebMD, "the most common fillers today are products that contain substances similar to hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body. It helps increase volume in your lips." Jenner, who is famous for her lips and their seemingly overnight transformation from thin to full, has also released a line of "lip kits" and has sparked a viral challenge in which people would put their lips in a cup and suck all the air out, bruising their lips and making them bigger, like Kylie Jenner's. All this when they could've just gotten filler! Now that Kylie no longer uses it, there will surely be another Jenner-backed trend coming soon.
Perhaps the move to stop using the treatment could be related to her her recent child with Travis Scott and the stress–or at least the distraction–of having a newborn baby.
