KXNG Crooked I has settled into his role as an OG rather nicely. The rapper, who spent time on both Shady Records and Death Row, has experienced a wealth of stories; as a result, his perspective on the game remains unparalleled, especially where historical context is concerned. Having spoken to the man first hand, it's evident how much he loves hip-hop as a movement, culture, and art form. Now, Crook has returned with another dose of heat, which originally dropped at the tail end of last week, as part of his ongoing and revamped series.

The most recent effort is "Pistol Grip," which finds Crook taking to some vintage Heatmakerz production. As expected, the bars come in a nonstop onslaught. He even saves a few for those taking shots at Eminem, which feels directed at the perpetually anti-Slim Lord Jamar. "Hate on Eminem all you want he had the balls to sign a n***a," raps Crook. "Bun B told me long ago you think these n***a want to rap with you? Think they all wanna get smacked up in front of they fans on a track with you?"

Peep Crooks' latest right now, and marvel at the sheer prowess.

Quotable Lyrics

It's Sunday I'm outshining n****s
Any given got the semi trippin' like I'm really mixin
With the Henny sippin' bitches give me chicken like I'm really pimpin'
On my bullshit like the skinny Pippen
Busy whippin in the Bentley Drippin,
Any victim in the city slippin' add a extended clip and start spittin' venom
Wet 'em up like they skinny dippin'
But don't get fooled by the gun bars, en guard, get punch hard
Get punched quicker than a lunch card
Then I'm going to cut your ass like a trump card
Slump your ass like Slump God
