KXNG Crooked's Hip-Hop Weekly is in full swing, and the new installment finds our hero doling out his weapon of choice. Which is to say, bars. In fact, it's become a cliche to refer to Crooked as a dope lyricist, given the effortless nature with which he checks all the boxes. Flow, wordplay, similies, metaphors, and punchlines all garner equal attention, and today's drop showcases Crook at his finest. Taking to a re-imagined rendition of Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones," Crook wastes little time in setting the tone with a blistering O.T. Genasis scheme.

"Biggie told me to get it the ski mask way," he spits, "in a shotgun when I'm runnin' the D pass play, drink a glass of wheatgrass like Alize, I creep past like a street-rat in an alleyway." One has to wonder what Crooked might be capable of if provided with instrumentals befitting of his true potential. That's not to say his producers aren't putting in work, but were he to collide with a likeminded force of destruction, all bets are off.

Quotable Lyrics

Biggie told me to get it the ski mask way
In a shotgun when I'm runnin' the D pass play,
Drink a glass of wheatgrass like Alize,
I creep past like a street-rat in an alleyway
