Kurupt is being accused of some serious savagery by his ex-wife Jovan Brown, who says the rapper left her when she needed him most during her cancer diagnosis. The Blast reports that Jovan is seeking spousal support from Kurupt that he apparently already owes her. The publication notes how Kurupt has refused to pay any medical bills or living expenses for Jovan.
“Before [Kurupt] left our relationship, I was diagnosed with terminal cancer," documents from The Blast read. "Although I earned a salary prior to separation and [he] knew I needed the money, when I asked [Kurupt] to assist me with my treatment, he responded “go get a regular job” and I should “get a boyfriend to help me pay for my treatments.”
Adding: “Our separation definitely hurt, as I could not understand how after 17 years” he abruptly “left me in my time of need when I needed his support and love the most.”
Jovan is also claiming that when she met Kurupt he was broke and she helped build his successful career by handling behind the scenes business. She's asking for $14,000 per month in spousal support, $40,000 for legal fees and a 50% stake in the companies she claims to have managed for him.
The court case is set for July.
