The death of Cadet was a huge loss to the grime community. Cadet died in a car accident two weeks ago at the age of 28 on his way to a concert. There was an outpour of tributes that surfaced on social media after the announcement of his death including Krept of Krept and Konan who said he was "devastated and broken" from the news and announced a public tribute that would take place the following day. Now, Krept and Konan deliver an emotional tribute to the late rapper on "Last Letter To Cadet."
Two years ago, Cadet and Krept, who are cousins, issues open "letters" to each other explaining the distance that grew between them over the years. On the "Last Letter To Cadet," both Krept and Konan team up to pay their final respects to the late rapper over a meditative instrumental. The song was released along with a video that shares memories they have with Cadet as well as footage from the public tribute that took place after the rapper's death.
