Kobe Bryant doesn’t appear to have much faith in the Houston Rockets. On Monday, the former Lakers legend sat down with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols and was asked what he thought of James Harden’s incredible scoring streak, to which Kobe admitted that he doesn’t seem to think they’ll ever win a championship playing that style of ball.

"I don't think that style is ever going to win championships," Bryant told Nichols. "But, at the same time, you have to keep your team’s head above water to win games, so you have to do what you have to do to win games, and he's doing that, right?"

"Not with this style of play, it won’t win, with one player dominating the ball," Bryant added. "Now, when you have Chris Paul come back, and you have more movement to the offense where you move guys around where you’re harder to find.”

In the month of January, Harden has been averaging a whopping 43.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game, leading the Rockets to only an 8-6 record though. The Rockets currently hold the 6th place position in the Western Conference and will yet again have a long road ahead of them to try and get pass the Warriors.

Check out Kobe’s comments (below) and let us know what you think. Is Kobe right here or is he lowkey jealous of the stats being put up?
