Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton musical has created something of a frenzy for itself, and it was in December of last year that Miranda debuted the play's soundtrack, The Hamilton Mixtape.
One of the project's highlights came in the form of a collaboration between K'Naan, Snow tha Product, Riz MC and Residente titled "Immigrants (We Get The Job Done)."
This week, the track came to life with an accompanying music video, directed by Tomás Whitmore.
“To make a film that empowers and honors the migrant narrative in an inclusive manner has been nothing short of transformative for everyone involved," says Whitmore of the visual. "Our hope is that the film can convey the notion that human mobility is the cornerstone of human history, and ultimately, act as a reminder that we are all on this journey together.”
