Golden State Warriors All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson took to the court in a special edition colorway of his Anta KT3 signature sneaker over the weekend, paying homage to the wildly successful Black Panther film.
The "Black Panther" Anta KT3, which was created in collaboration with Marvel, features a black and silver colorway, and includes details such as the claw marks and African print along the midsole, which serve as a nod to the King of Wakanda. Additionally the shoe’s velcro collar reads “Property of Wakanda." Klay debuted the kicks during Friday night's victory over the Atlanta Hawks, in which he scored 15 points on 6/9 shooting from the field.
The limited edition sneakers were available in both high and low top form at retailers like Famuji Sneaker, though they sold out soon after they were officially unveiled.
