There is plenty of inter-borough love to go around on the NYC rap scene these days. The latest example: "Setup," a new collaboration between Brooklyn's Kirk Knight and Harlem's A$AP Ferg. The song finds Ferg inhabiting his Trap Lord persona, a comforting sound for fans who weren't so enthusiastic about Always Strive and Prosper.
Knight released "Setup" in honor of the second annual Yams Day, which is scheduled to go down this Wednesday, January 18th at Madison Square Garden’s The Theater. Performers will include A$AP Mob, TDE, Young Thug, Tyler, The Creator, Danny Brown, Pro Era, T-Pain, Lil Uzi Vert, Cam’ron and many more. Scope the full lineup here.
