Last week, we heard Lil Durk try his hand at Dej Loaf's melodic street record, "Try Me", which worked pretty magnificently. It seems other Chicago rappers are taking notes, as today, King Louie has now taken on the shiny instrumental.

Louie goes for a bassy croon, contrasting Durk's wailing battle cries, but coming off no less loaded with paranoia. The rapper dropped the criminally underrated Tony mixtape earlier this summer, you can check that out here.

So far, we've heard plenty of freestyles over DeJ Loaf's hit, but nothing from Drake, who seemed to be hinting at doing so about a month back. Seems like the hype took off and his chance to break Loaf was lost, so he decided to let it go.

Quotable Lyrics:
Keep a couple killas with me
They can't get me
Drop a nigga like a mixtape
Ain't shit sweet
