Kanye West isn't your conventional type of person. From his unique fashion sense to his groundbreaking music, he's succeeded in thinking outside of the box. That may also be the case when it comes to home design. Earlier this week, Twitter and social media were in utter confusion after a picture of a sink in Kanye and Kim Kardashian's home surfaced on the internet. The sink itself appeared to have no basin but Kim took to Instagram to give fans a little lesson on how it works.

Kim Kardashian gave fans a better look at the apparent basin-less sink in her and Kanye's bathroom. She gave a tour of their bathroom which has a lightbox as a ceiling, a patio, as well as a massive bathtub and shower. Kim explained

"So the sinks, Kanye drew this. Kanye, Axel Vervoordt, and Claudio Silvestrin kind of all did this sink," she explained. "Eight types of the prototype sink was made and it does actually slightly slope down. You could kind of see," she continued before zooming into a slit in the sink which serves as a drain. "And there's a slit for the water, and it goes in. You could put it on as high pressure as you want, and no backsplash will come up."
