It's been a rather short roll out for Killy's debut, Surrender Your Soul. The Torontonian with an alien-esque voice revealed the cover art and tracklist for the project just yesterday, and returned later that same day with the album itself. The project was led by his break-out single, "Killamonjaro," which is now a year old and counts over 5 million streams on Soundcloud. Don't be scared, you are treated to plenty of new music in the tracklist, and even not therein-- Killy also dropped "Very Scary" a few days ago, which doesn't land on Surrender Your Soul (but it's dope, check it out here).

Slated in the middle of Surrender Your Soul is the haunting and aptly-titled "Doomsday." With production from the fantastic combo of Y2K and Wondagurl, we get a  lofi, mechanical sound that's seeped in sadness thanks to the guitar string melody and Killy's auto-tuned drawl.

Take a listen and let us know your favourite song off the project so far.

Sidenote: we've added "Doomsday" to our Fire Emoji playlist, which you should all be following asap/right now.

Quotable Lyrics

So long, farewell, goodbye
Seven days, seven nights, seven lives
I come alive
On, on Doomsday
Red eye, one way, L.A.
Pushed back, trip back
New day
