Murda Beatz is definitely out here tryna claim the title of Producer MVP, something which had been unanimously given to Metro Boomin since his hot streak started in 2015. Will Murda have that locked down by the end of 2016? The Canadian producer has popped up just about everywhere lately, from underground Atlanta artists that are on the rise (24hrs), to already-established Atlanta trappers like Migos, to the buzzing likes of Lil Uzi Vert. Now he's adding a bit more mainstream weight to his name, with choppy production for Kid Ink on "Die In It." Ink tries out some new flows and wordplay on the cut too, it's definitely catchy.
Ink recently announced a new mixtape, Rocketshipshawty 2, following up the first one (and fan-favorite) from 2012. RSS2 has no release date yet, but it's slated to drop soon-- Ink says this is the last leak off the tape too, so that's an indication that we're near.
