December finna be lit. Just after the shocking revelation that a new J. Cole album, 4 Your Eyez Only -- his first project in two years, will be arriving on Dec. 9, another important release date has been announced. After a delay and a surprise trip to rehab, Kid Cudi now plans to release Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' on Dec. 16. That's the release date for the digital version, and physical copies will be available a week later on Dec. 23.
The album's release date comes in concurrence with a brand new Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' track called "Baptized in Fire," a collaboration with Travi$ Scott. Cudi had previously released two singles off of the album: "Frequency" and the Pharrell-featuring "Surfin'." The tracklist Cudi shared in September shows that the album will contain four distinct "acts" as well as features from Andre 3000 and Willow Smith.
