It has been approximately six months since Tristan Thompson was revealed to have been involved in a now infamous cheating scandal while his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian was pregnant with the couple's first child, True Thompson. Despite her family's apparent disapproval and the vocal protests of her fans, Khloe decided to remain in a relationship with the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward. Sources have now come forward to reveal that the decision is proving to be a difficult one for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
According to E! News, reports have surfaced claiming that Khloe is "still very much insecure" about being separated from Thompson for long stretches of time, and "struggling with trusting him to be on his own around other women when she isn't there." A source explained, "In addition to her own insecurities about Tristan's infidelity, Khloe is continuing to struggle with her family's thoughts of Tristan as most of them haven't forgiven him for cheating, even though they are trying to support Khloe's decision to be with him." Regardless of whether Khloe's family approve of the relationship, the source went on to share, "Everyone in the family ultimately wants what's best for True, but they're wary that Tristan will cheat again, and they hate seeing how this is effecting Khloe."
Thompson is currently in Ohio where he is working with his team, but Khloe is still in Los Angeles. "Khloe had everything planned to leave for Cleveland early last week, and decided not to go," a second source told E! News. "She doesn't feel comfortable to leave her home and family in L.A. and head back to her life in Cleveland right now. She isn't ready to go."
