Khalid dropped off his Suncity EP earlier this month that was filled with seven smooth tracks including the beloved single "Better." The new tape introduced us to more great beats by the 20-year-old singer such as “Vertigo," and today he has released a tranquil video that sees him performing the song live at nighttime on a palm tree and cactus-filled balcony with a string instrumental backing band.
The video is really something special and the setting ties into Khalid's El Paso upbringing in the most subtle way. "More than anything in life right now I want growth. I want my music to grow and represent how I am growing up," Khalid said of his tape. "Suncity is the start of a new era for me, this music poured out of me and I didn’t want to wait to share it. I wanted to be able to live in this moment with my fans and my friends and speak from the heart.”
