Crooner Khalid, currently on tour with Lorde on her 'Melodrama' tour, has announced plans to embark on a headlining run in Europe in the coming year. Set to take place throughout February, the tour will cover 13 different stops beginning on February 1st in Stockholm, Sweden and ending on  the 18th in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

Previously, he headlined the North American leg of his 'American Teen Tour' throughout the summer, a run that concluded on September 21st in San Francisico. Right now, he’s assisting Lorde on the European leg of her trek, and will be set to conclude in Auckland, New Zealand on.

Recently, the Texas-bred breakout dropped off a “roguh draft” to a new track titled “Perfect,” an acoustic performance that’s gone on to amass over 1 million plays in under a month. Since his debut American Teen release back in March, Khalid’s gone on to nab a Gold certification for the effort which tapped out at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 200. He’s also been enjoying the fruits that come with two double-platinum singles in the form of “Location,” and “1-800-273-8255,” a suicide prevention track performed alongside Logic and Alessia Cara.

"I feel like a song like this and a speech like that -- not just suicide awareness, but about being equal -- was necessary,” he told Billboard of the track in an interview. "2017 right now is not the best year that I've had, personally, especially being a minority in America. The light has been set on the negativity. I mean, we have a president who doesn't really have a true understanding on how to be a president -- that doesn't always help -- and I feel like it takes a lot of courage, especially for minorities, to speak out about what they believe in."

Earlier this year, he won the title of Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards, and currently boasts two nominations for the forthcoming MTV Europe Music Awards that include nods in the categories for Best New Artist and Best Push Artist.
