A former member of ATL collective Two-9 (who were recently signed to Mike WiLL Made It's Ear Drummers imprint), Key! still runs around in the same scene as those dudes: Atlanta's relatively new enclave of weirdos. One such weirdo, iLoveMakonnen, lends production to "TMZ," along with FKi.
A cloudy, colorful composition very much in the same vein as Makonnen's recent tracks, "TMZ" has Key! singing auto-tuned laps around the plodding, psychedelic beat. Shown sitting in a dimly-lit apartment, Key! revels in his blunt smoke-filled surroundings, singing about staying real through the fame and sipping lean in Nissans. Watch out for Key!, he could be poised for a big break in the wake of Makonnen's signing to OVO.
