Kevin Gates is about to drop his debut album, Islah, later this month, and today the Baton Rouge rapper has shared the official tracklist for the project. Among the 15 tracks on the LP are singles "Really Really," "2 Phones," and "Kno One".
The most surprising takeaway from the tracklist is the lack of features. It's possible that the guest appearances are simply yet to be announced, but the image Gates shared on his Instagram does look a whole lot like the back cover of the album, so he could easily be doing the whole thing solo.
Gates explained the inspiration for the title in a press release. “ISLAH means to reform, to improve, to make better, and I believe that’s what my first daughter did to me. So I named my first album after my first daughter; because it improved me, it made me better.”
